The Story Behind Cyrus Construction
I'm Chris Cyrus, founder and owner of Cyrus Construction (formerly Cyrus Lux Estates & Services LLC). My passion for construction started long before I ever owned a business — growing up, I spent countless hours alongside my dad and grandfather, helping them build, repair, and improve their homes. Those experiences taught me the value of craftsmanship, hard work, and taking pride in creating something that lasts.
In 2017, I incorporated Cyrus Construction Group — and spent the next several years putting in 100-hour weeks, building the company alongside a full-time corporate career. That career spanned more than 20 years with organizations including Bank of America, Citizens, and a leading corporate recruiting technology company, where I developed expertise in project management, client relationships, communication, technology, and business operations. Those experiences continue to shape how we run our company today — professionally, transparently, and with an unwavering commitment to customer service. In 2025, I made the decision to leave the corporate world and dedicate myself full-time to my passion.
My wife and I have proudly called Geauga County home since 2016, where we're raising our three amazing kids — Christo, Evie, and Ray. Family is the foundation of everything we do, and those same values guide every project we take on.
Over the years, I've personally purchased and transformed multiple distressed homes — hands-on experience with everything from structural repairs and complete renovations to high-end kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and exterior improvements. As a licensed Ohio Realtor serving the Greater Cleveland area, I also bring a unique perspective to every project: understanding not just how to build a beautiful space, but how thoughtful renovations increase a home's value and appeal.
